Can be turned off by deliberately turning the key hard enough toward you with your right hand while driving. GM forgot that people have hands on their right side. (Well most people anyway...)If the car is off, then airbags are deactivated and will not deploy. Which could lead to firery death.
GM should recall ALL vehicles because they can be turned off. GM cars should always be left running to keep the airbags active in case someone bumps into you car when it's parked. If you were inside the airbags would deploy and keep you safe from the people around your car.
GM should be held responsible because we, as a species, can no longer be bothered to pay attention to what we are doing. If we hurt ourselves it's not our fault and someone must PAY!

I had the same thought (and commented on the story). I'm pretty sure I could go into almost any vehicle in my driveway and turn the key off with my knee. That shouldn't be the issue. The airbags turning off immediately? Well, it'd be easy I'm sure to add a delay to that. But the key? I don't know why that differs from any keyed ignition I've been in.

Good I was concerned that I, as an adult would be held accountable for my own actions.
